Areas of Experience
With you through every step.
01
Affirmative Asylum / Removal Defense
Upon entry to the U.S., immigrants have one year to apply for asylum. This can be done affirmatively -directly with USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) or defensively -with the Immigration Court. Our skilled attorneys will help you navigate this complex landscape in a way that works for you. Ask us how you can obtain your work permit or Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
02
Family Based Immigration
It doesn't matter if you are here in the U.S. or abroad. If you have a U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident family member, you may qualify for a family-based visa petition. Our attorneys will help guide you through this process, which may be quite long and cumbersome, depending on your particular migratory circumstances.
03
U Visas
U Visas are intended to safeguard immigrants who are currently in the U.S. who have been victims of a qualifying crime and have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse. Once approved, this visa allows for Employment Authorization (EAD) and may eventually lead to U.S. citizenship status.
04
Special Immigrant Juvenile Visas
Also referred to as the juvenile visas, they allow for the issuance of a visa to under-age applicants (must be under 18 in most states including Ohio), who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected by at least one or their parents or caregivers. This visa is a path to citizenship and we take great pride in helping minors achieve legal status in the U.S.
